Obedience lessons are the foundation for happy dogs and a happy humans. Unless otherwise noted, each course is a package of four, 1 hour private sessions with you and your dog. The courses can be customized to meet your specific needs, or we can create a whole course just for you. New clients, or old clients with a new dog receive an additional first time evaluation, free of charge.
Basic Obedience
For dogs of all ages, with little or no previous training. Teach your furry friend the skills and good manners he needs to become a civilized member of the family. We will teach your dog: sit, down, stay, come, walking on a loose leash and paying attention. We will also discuss ways to prevent and manage some common dog problems. This is a course of 4 one hour sessions.
Beyond the Basics
For dogs who are ready for something more challenging. This course polishes your dogs skills in a variety of circumstances. Will work on longer stays, staying at a distance, paying attention with distractions and coming with distractions. This is a course of 4 one hour sessions.
House Manners
This course is for dogs who have learned the basics, but still need a little help with manners. We will focus on teaching your dog such things as the proper way to greet strangers, how to wait patiently at the door, and how to be polite around food. Rules that are specific to your house, such as getting on or off the furniture, can also be incorporated into this course. This is a course of 4 one hour sessions.
Leash Manners
Pulling is one of the most common complaints among dog owners. This course will help you teach your dog to walk nicely on a loose leash. We will also discuss whether or not various "no-pull" equipment is right for your dog. This is a course of 3 one hour sessions.
Problem Solving
Problem solving sessions for dogs who need some extra help with an annoying habit or two, such as chewing, barking, digging, jumping or house training. This is a course of 3 one hour sessions.

Individual session by the hour.
